Tom Gulitti via twitter: Anton Volchenkov’s agent, Jay Grossman, said that he broke “a small bone” near the arch of his foot. It may not be the 4-6 a broken ankle may take, will depend on how it heals.

Mike Halford of Pro Hockey Talk: Islanders prospect Calvin de Haan suffered a shoulder injury that will end his season. de Haan was playing for the Bridgeport of the AHL. It is his 3rd shoulder injury in the last 3 years.
