NHL Trade: Leafs Acquire Rychel from Blue Jackets
Columbus Blue Jackets trade Kerby Rychel to the Toronto Maple Leafs

The Columbus Blue Jackets have traded forward Kerby Rychel to the Toronto Maple Leafs for defenseman Scott Harrington and a conditional 5th round draft pick.

Bob McKenzie: The condition is if the Blue Jackets put Harrington on waivers and he gets claimed, the Blue Jackets get the 5th round pick. If he clears, there is no pick.

The 21-year old Rychel was drafted 19th overall in the first round of the 2013 draft by the Blue Jackets.

The 23-year old Harrington was drafted 54th overall in the second round of the 2011 draft by the Penguins.
