The Edmonton Oilers have traded winger Nail Yakupov to the St. Louis Blues for winger Zach Pochiro and a conditional 2017 third-round pick.
If Yakupov scores 15 or more goals this season, the third round pick becomes a 2018 second round pick.
The 23-year old Yakupov is in the last year of his deal and carries a $2.5 million salary cap hit.
Yakupov was drafted 1st overall in the 2012 draft by the Oilers.
The 22-year old Pochiro was drafted 122nd overall in the fourth round of the 2013 draft by the Blues
