NHL Trade: Capitals Acquire Tyler Graovac From Wild
Minnesota Wild trade Tyler Graovac to the Washington Capitals for a 2018 draft pick

 

 

The Washington Capitals have acquire forward Tyler Graovac from the Minnesota Wild for a 2018 5th round pick.

Isabelle Khurshudyan: The acquisition of Graovac gives them another contract and so they can protect Lars Eller in the expansion draft.

Graovac carries a $625,000 salary cap hit and will be a RFA after next season.

Graovac was drafted 191st in the seventh round of the 2011 draft by the Wild.
