NHL Rumors: Kings, Canucks, Canadiens and Flyers
Michael Del Zotto wants to remain with the Philadelphia Flyers
On the Los Los Angeles Kings …

Dennis Bernstein: Can’t see the Kings trading for Tomas Tatar. He’s a pending RFA who is arbitration eligible, and they already have Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson as RFAs.

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Jeff Paterson: If Ryan Miller is traded, can’t see it happening today. He’s scheduled to start tonight and can’t see they using Richard Bachman and the UBC emergency goalie against the Red Wings.

Ben Kuzma of the Vancouver Sun: GM Jim Benning is still getting calls on Ryan Miller and Jannik Hansen. When the Kings added Ben Bishop and the Wild landed Ryan White, it shrunk the market a bit for Miller and Hansen.

“We’ve had some calls on Ryan and we’ll see where it ends up,” said Benning, who added he’s open to the possibility of Miller re-signing here in free agency. “The calls have picked up and there’s a lot of interest in Jannik, too.”

On the Montreal Canadiens and Vancouver Canucks …

Brian Lawton: Hearing that the Canadiens are working on multiple options, with Jannik Hansen as one of the players they are interested in. They have three 2018 second round picks and prospects.

Matthew Sekeres: From understanding is that Hansen won’t accept a trade to the Montreal Canadiens. It’s possible he’d go to another Eastern Conference team, but not the Canadiens.

On the Philadelphia Flyers …

Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer: Steve Mason, Michal Neuvirth, Mark Streit and Michael Del Zotto are getting interest.

“I’m prepared for anything,” Mason said, adding he wasn’t worrying about something he can’t control.

Defenseman Mark Streit is a free agent and is hoping he can stay past the deadline and come back next year.

Sam Carchidi: Pending UFA Michael Del Zotto hopes to re-sign with the Flyers and help mentor their young defensemen.
