Mike Heika: The Stars are very interested in Ben Bishop, but not sure if the Lightning want, or need to move him.

On the Florida Panthers …

Jameson Olive: Panthers GM Tom Rowe said they are still going through the details of an Aaron Ekblad contract extension. Ekblad will “be in the fold for a long time.”

Jameson Olive: Rowe said they plan on bringing in a few veterans on PTOs to training camp.

Darren Dreger: Roberto Luongo and the Panthers are not concerned about his health. He had his hip surgery on May 5th. He should be ready to go for the start of the season.

David Isaac: GM Hextall on RFA Brayden Schenn: “We’re going to start working on that fairly quickly here.”

Tim Panaccio: Hextall wanted to add a goal scorer yesterday, but was happy to add the depth. There is money left over in case Ivan Provorov or Travis Konecny make the roster.
