NHL Rumors: Radulov, Vegas, Okposo, Oilers and Wild
Alex Radulov
On Alexander Radulov …

Elliotte Friedman: Alexander Radulov was unable to find a team that was willing to pay him what he wanted. He’ll be signing with Salavat of the KHL.

Szymon Szemberg: Salavat GM denies that they have signed Radulov: “It’s the first time I hear about this”.

Aivis Kalnins: Don’t see Radulov signing with anyone other than CSKA if he remains in the KHL.

Aivis Kalnins: Radulov’s KHL agent said that Radulov doesn’t have a contract in place with any KHL team at this point.

On Las Vegas …

Pierre LeBrun: Bill Daley said that the Las Vegas franchise can start making trades likely around June 1st next year, approximately three weeks before the expansion draft.

On Kyle Okposo

Athur Staple: Source saying the Jets, Blues, Kings, Wild and Red Wings are among the teams interested in Kyle Okposo.

On the Edmonton Oilers …

David Staples: If the Oilers keep winger Nail Yakupov around next season, it could mean they could start Jesse Puljujarvi in the AHL.

On the Minnesota Wild …

Michael Russo of the Star-Tribune: The Wild bought out Thomas Vanek and are in on multiple trade scenarios.

“If nothing works out and it’ll be a slower process, it’ll be a slower process. We might wait until July 1, and see what’s out there. I’m sure there will be some new players on the team; you never keep the exact same group.

“Chuck and Brent are really doing their due diligence, and we’ll see how it works out.”

The Wild have had talks about Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, with the Oilers appearing to want Matt Dumba and other assets, including a 2017 2nd round pick.

It’s believed that the Wild spoke with the Rangers about Derek Stepan, and the Coyotes about Martin Hanzal and Christian Dvorak.

The Wild will check out the free agent market as they then would be able to keep Dumba or Jonas Brodin.

They could look at free agent wingers in Kyle Okposo, Andrew Ladd or David Perron. Free agent center options include David Backes, Loui Eriksson or Frans Nielsen.
