NHL Power Rankings: 2016-17 Consensus Week 19
NHL power rankings Washington Capitals

It was a clean sweep for the first and last place rankings this week in our consensus NHL power rankings for week 19.

The Washington Capitals took all seven first place rankings, with the Colorado Avalanche getting all seven last place votes.

The Minnesota Wild continue their solid season and sit at No. 2.

Four out of seven media outlets have the Chicago Blackhawks at No. 3, and that is where they end up at in our rankings.

The Pittsburgh Penguins narrowly beat out the New York Rangers for the No. 4 slot.

At the wrong end of the rankings are the Colorado Avalanche.

The Detroit Red Wings continue to struggle and have fallen to No. 29.

The Arizona Coyotes have gone on a little roll, but are slotted at No. 28.

It still seems odd to see the Dallas Stars in the bottom five, but there they are at No. 27.

The Winnipeg Jets round out the lower end at No. 26.
