On the Boston Bruins …

Boston Bruins: Coach Bruce Cassidy on goaltender Tuukka Rask and his lower-body injury: “Nursing a minor injury…we’ll keep an eye on that one. Not having skated now for three days, doesn’t look like he’ll be able to go tomorrow…probably wants to get in a little work before he goes back in the net.”

On the Colorado Avalanche …

Jesse Montano: There is still no timetable for Erik Johnson or Mark Barberio to return to the lineup according to coach Jared Bednar. When asked if they could return next week: “gosh, I don’t know.”

Mike Chambers: Wouldn’t be surprised if Erik Johnson can return next week.

Jesse Montano: Vladislav Kamenev will travel with the team on their road trip but won’t play. Sven Andrighetto is traveling as but won’t play tonight. He will be reevaluated before their game against the Blue Jackets.

On the Nashville Predators …

Adam Vingan: Defenseman Roman Josi and his upper-body injury are day-to-day. Forward Craig Smith has missed their past two games for “maintenance.” Smith hasn’t been listed with an injury.

On the New York Rangers …

Brett Cyrgalis: The Rangers will eventually call up Filip Chytil and Lias Andersson. They won’t call them up too early that would cause them to burn a year of their entry-level deals.

On the Montreal Canadiens …

Stu Cowan: Forward Max Pacioretty will be out for four to six weeks with a knee injury. Defenseman Victor Mete will be out for six weeks with a fractured finger.

On the St. Louis Blues …

St. Louis Blues: The Blues announced that defenseman Jay Bouwmeester will be out for the rest of the season with a left-hip injury. He’ll be out for four to six months.

Forward Scottie Upshall has left MCL sprain and will be reevaluated in four weeks.

Jeremy Rutherford: GM Doug Armstrong on if they would call up Klim Kostin: “I think when you watch him down there, he’s finding his way in the American Hockey League now. I think there’s a lot of room for growth at that level for him right now.”

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

Joe Smith: Goaltender Peter Budaj will go to the AHL on a conditioning stint.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Ken Wiebe: The Jets activated goaltender Steve Mason from the IR and reassigned goaltender Michael Hutchinson.
