Jeremy Rutherford: The Blues have recalled Ville Husso on an emergency basis in case Carter Hutton (neck) isn’t able to backup tonight.

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Ben Kuzma: Defenseman Erik Gudbranson suffered a small shoulder labrum tear back on November 22nd against the Penguins. He’s been wearing a brace and could have finished the season. The recovery is expected to be six months, so they’ll do the surgery soon so that he should be ready for the start of training camp.

Ben Kuzma: Have been told that Gudbranson’s surgery is similar to what Gaunce had, and he needed six months to get back in the lineup.

Rick Dhaliwal: Gudbranson’s camp felt it was better get it done now rather than risk it becoming an issue again next season.

On the Vegas Golden Knights …

Vegas Golden Knights: Coach Gerard Gallant said that both Reilly Smith and James Neal are still day-to-day and that it will be a little longer for Luca Sbisa.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Ken Wiebe: The Jets recalled goaltender Eric Comrie on an emergency basis. Likely that goaltender Michael Hutchinson and his upper-body injury will be out.
