On the Toronto Maple Leafs …

Kristen Shilton: The Maple Leafs made four signings yesterday.

Forward Pierre Engvall to a two-year entry-level contract.

Defenseman Jesper Lindgren to a three-year entry-level contract.

KHL free agent defenseman Igor Ozhiganov to a one-year entry-level contract.

Center Par Lindholm to a one-year entry-level contract.

Jonas Siegel of The Athletic: The 25-year old Ozhiganov had 20 teams interested in him, but Ozhiganov made it known earlier this year that if he would only sign with the Maple Leafs.

Ozhiganov is a former defensive partner of Nikita Zaitsev. He recorded two goals and nine points in 42 games for CSKA.
