Tom Timmermann: Once the swelling goes down Gunnarsson will have surgery. He could be ready for the start of next season but will likely miss most of training camp.

Tom Timmermann: The Blues now have defensemen Gunnarsson and Jay Bouwmeester done for the season. In the AHL Petteri Lindbohm is done for the year with a shoulder injury. Chris Butler and Jake Walman are their options for recall.

Lou Korac: Forward Nikita Soshnikov missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

Brian Hedger: Lukas Sedlak missed last night’s game. He took a puck to the head on Thursday night.
