Mark Lazerus: Coach Joel Quenneville said that when goaltender Corey Crawford is ready to return to practice, it won’t take him long to be ready to get into a game. It sounds like Crawford is still several days away from practicing.

BSN Avalanche: Nathan MacKinnon skated before practice. Sven Andrighetto has been skating, but there is still no timetable on when he could return. Mark Barberio still isn’t skating, and there is no timetable on when he could return. Mikko Rantanen is questionable for tonight’s game.

On the Dallas Stars …

Mike Heika: Forward Martin Hanzal returned to the lineup after missing the past five games with a lower-body injury. Hanzal has dealt with injuries six times so far this season. Defenseman Marc Methot is getting close to returning to the lineup. He’ll need to get into a couple more practices before he’s ready.

On the Los Angeles Kings …

John Hoven: The LA Kings trade AHL defenseman Zac Leslie to the Vegas Golden Knights for future considerations.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Scott Billeck: The Jets recalled Brendan Lemieux and Nic Petan.

Ken Wiebe: The Jets put Adam Lowry on the IR with an upper-body injury retroactive to February 1st. Matt Hendricks has a suspected back injury could be ready to return before Lowry.
