Helene St. James: Defenseman Danny DeKeyser will be out for at least another week, possibly two weeks. He has a slightly sprained ankle and an issue from a blocked shot.

On the New Jersey Devils …

Andrew Gross of NJ.com: Forward Brian Boyle didn’t skate yesterday and hasn’t been on the ice that often in the past week. He’s expected to be on the ice “later the week” according to coach John Hynes.

“No update, just the good news is he’s continuing to progress,” Hynes. “So I think, for him, it’s just as long as the path continues to go forward, those are all good things. We’re excited to see where his progress is going to be and we’ll see a little bit more at the end of the week.”
