On the Chicago Blackhawks …
Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times: Coach Joel Quenneville was asked about days ago if Corey Crawford and his ‘upper-body’ injury would return this season and he immediately said “yes.”
Three sources have said that Crawford is dealing with vertigo-like symptoms for the second time in his career and there are now some concerns that he might be done for the season.
The Blackhawks have been ‘tight-lipped’ on Crawford’s status.
Crawford missed almost four weeks at the end of 2015-16 with vertigo symptoms.
“Obviously, you’re missing him,” Quenneville said on Sunday. “He’s been arguably our key player all year, and the consistency he’s given us in the net, we know how valuable the position is and what it means to your team. It’s almost like, ‘Oh, that’s a tremendous hole.’ As a team, you have to make an awareness that, hey, you have to contribute on the defensive side of things a little more.”

Pierre LeBrun: The Kings put forward Jussi Jokinen on waivers.
LA Kings: The Kings recalled forward Michael Amadio and defenseman Paul LaDue from the AHL. The Kings reassigned Oscar Fantenberg and Kurtis MacDermid to the AHL.
On the Nashville Predators …
Adam Vingan of The Tennessean: The Predators have put forward Viktor Arvidsson on the IR with a lower-body injury, and recalled forward Freddy Gaudreau.
Forward Filip Forsberg is out for at least a couple more weeks.
Adam Vingan: Forward Ryan Johansen didn’t return for the third period.
Jim Diamond: Johansen was able to get off the ice under his own power.
Adam Vingan: There was no update on Johansen after the game.
