Eric Stephens: Defenseman Hampus Lindholm and his upper-body injury were on the ice practicing yesterday. Nick Ritchie and his upper-body injury were on the ice but came off early.

On the Chicago Blackhawks …

Chris Hine: The Blackhawks put defenseman Cody Franson on the IR and recalled defenseman Ville Pokka.

On the Dallas Stars …

Mike Heika: Alexander Radulov left last night’s game with a lower-body injury.

Mike Heika: Radulov was removed from the game for precautionary reasons. More will be known .

Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News: Forward Martin Hanzal has dealt with four different injuries so far this season. Hanzal returned last night after missing seven games with a hamstring injury.

“I feel good, feel good,” Hanzal said before the game. “I know I said this last time, too, and I was out in two games. I mean, right now, I feel great, I don’t have any issues, so I should be ready to go. I need to play. It’s really important for me to be back in the lineup, and I’m really excited.”

Antoine Roussel has missed the Stars past two games with an elbow injury but is close to returning according to coach Ken Hitchcock. Hitchcock added that Roussel could play in their next two games.

On the Nashville Predators …

Thomas Willis: The Predators activated forwards Ryan Johansen and Scott Hartnell from the IR and reassigned forward Frederick Gaudreau to the AHL.

On the San Jose Sharks …

Curtis Pashelka: Coach Pete DeBoer said that Joonas Donskoi is probable for tonight. Mikkel Boedker is day-to-day.

On the St. Louis Blues …

Lou Korac of In The Slot: Defenseman Jay Bouwmeester has been bothered with a nagging issue, and a decision could be made after their morning skate if he’ll play or not. Coach Mike Yeo :

“I talked to him today. He’s feeling better,” Yeo said of Bouwmeester. “We’ll see what happens there tomorrow.”

Defenseman Alex Pietrangelo is eligible to come off the IR on Sunday.

“He’s going to wait a couple days (before skating), but talked to him today and he’s feeling better,” Yeo said. “I know he hopped on the bike there. We’ll keep him moving and obviously interested to get him back.”

Backup goaltender Carter Hutton can come off the IR on Friday. He was on the ice for their option skate, is feeling better and could be ready for Friday.

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Ben Kuzma: Defenseman Chris Tanev left in the third period in last night’s game and was seen limping around after the game. The Canucks didn’t give an update.

On the Vegas Golden Knights …

Pierre LeBrun: The Golden Knights claim Ryan Carpenter off waivers from the Sharks. The Knights had scouted Carpenter last season before the expansion draft.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Brian Munz: Coach Paul Maurice confirmed that defenseman Tyler Myers and forward Matt Hendricks will play tonight despite missing practice yesterday.
