Michael Smith: Forward Lee Stempniak isn’t traveling with the team to St. Louis but could join the team for practice on Monday. Coach Bill Peters: “He hasn’t played in a while, so we have to get him skating.”

Michael Smith: Peters on if they’d send Stempniak on another conditioning stint: “Oh, I don’t know. The first one didn’t go very good, so we’ll see.”
