Boston Bruins: Coach Claude Julien said Patrice Bergeron is not injured and traveling with the team. Zdeno Chara and Noel Acciari are not traveling with the team.

Joe Haggerty of CSNNE: Zdeno Chara is “feeling better” but hasn’t been cleared to return.

“It’s day-to-day. It feels better…yeah. But it’s still day-to-day,” said a rather laconic Chara when it came to questions about his injury. “It would feel much better than it feels .”

Chris Steveson of the NHL.com: The Senators have put Bobby Ryan and Fredrik Claesson on the IR. Marc Methot missed Thursday’s game, but he’ll return today.

Tracey MyersJonathan Toews said that if it were the playoffs, he’d deal with his injury. He’ll wait till he fully healed before he returns, they don’t want him to re-aggravate it.

Scott Powers: The Blachkawks activated defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk from the IR yesterday and put Jonathan Toews on the IR.

Mike Heika: Defenseman Johnny Oduya could return next week from his lower-body injury. Ales Hemsky (hip) and Mattias Janmark (knee) are out until April. They have no idea when Jiri Hudler will be able to return from his illness.
