NHL.com: Penguins forward Conor Sheary will be out four to six weeks with an upper-body injury. Sheary played almost 17 minutes on Tuesday, but didn’t practice yesterday.

Evgeni Malkin (lower-body) skated before practice yesterday.

Stu Cowan: Center Alex Galchenyuk practiced yesterday and he’ll return to the lineup tonight against the Flyers. Galchenyuk has missed three games after re-aggravating his right knee.

“It is what it is,” Galchenyuk told reporters about his injuries after practice. “There’s nothing we can do about it now. Stuff like that happens, and you’ve just got to stay positive and do the right thing.”

Chris Ryan: Defenseman Andy Greene skated with teammates. John Moore and Beau Bennett skated on their own.

Tarik El-Bashir: Hearing that Justin Williams has a lower-body injury, but they don’t think it’s serious. Out last night for precautionary reasons. He should be able to go on Saturday.

On the Boston Bruins … 

Joe Haggerty: Tuukka Rask when asked if he tweaked something in the third period:  “Yeah, I’m alright. I just popped my groin a little bit, but nothing major.”

Joe Haggerty: Patrice Bergeron was helped to the room after taking a slap shot on the inside of his right knee.

Fluto Shinzawa: Bergeron left the dressing with a heavy limp.
