Tyler Toffoli and Tomas Hertl
On the Los Angeles Kings …

Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider: Tyler Toffoli (lower-body) was on the ice yesterday. He hasn’t fully practiced with the team and is not expected to play during their road trip.

“We’re trying to get him back on the ice on an every day basis, and it’s way better that he’s under our supervision and being with the team, also,” Sutter said.

On the San Jose Sharks …

“I think it’s almost day-to-day now,” Hertl said. “… I think I’m pretty close but we’ll see how it goes the next couple days. I believe it’ll be playing soon now.”

The Sharks play on Monday and Tuesday on the road, and then Thursday at home. He could play this week.

He’ll need at least on full practice with contact before getting clearance to return to game action.

Eric Stephens: Early word is that it may not be a serious injury for Gibson.

On the Colorado Avalanche …
