Western Conference Injuries: Stars, Ducks, Oilers, Kings and Coyotes
Andrej Sekera and Adam Larsson of the Edmonton Oilers

On the Dallas Stars …

Mark Stepneski: Johnny Oduya (ankle) is not expected to play tonight, but is a possibility for Sunday.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Curtis Zupke: Coach Randy Carlyle didn’t have an update on John Gibson. They have one game before their bye week.

On the Edmonton Oilers …

Ryan Rishaug: It doesn’t sound like Andrej Sekera and Adam Larsson will miss a significant amount of time.

On the Los Angeles Kings …

Jon Rosen: Jordan Nolan is getting close to returning. After tomorrow’s practice they should have a better idea.

Jon Rosen: Paul LaDue said his upper-body injury shouldn’t keep him out too long. He skated yesterday.

On the Arizona Coyotes …

Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic: Center Brad Richardson didn’t travel with the team on their two-game road trip.

He skates mostly when teammates leave the ice but he’s progressing. Back in November he fractured his tibia and fibula. There has been some overlap of being on the ice, in a no-contact jersey.

“It’s a serious, serious injury,” Tippett said. “It’s a long rehab back, but it’s good to see he’s coming the right way and I hope he gets the chance to play some games this year. I think that’d be really good for him to come back and going into the next year know that he got back and playing.”
