NHL Injuries: Blue Jackets, Bruins, Coyotes, Habs, Avs and More
Sergei Bobrovsky

On the Columbus Blue Jackets …

  • Katie Foglia of BlueJackets.com: Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky is getting close to returning, but is still day-to-day.

“Bob has been practicing really well. He’s still day-to-day,” Tortorella said, when asked for an update on the goaltender.

Coach John Tortorella said that Brandon Saad is day-to-day. He didn’t practice yesterday.

Ryan Murray missed practice due to an illness.

  • Todd Jones: Bobrovsky won’t be activated for tonight’s game.

On the Boston Bruins …

  • Joe Haggerty of CSNNE: Defenseman Kevan Miller won’t be playing during the Bruins two game road trip.

“It’s day-to-day,” coach Claude Julien said of Miller, who was injured when he was driven into the boards from behind by Alex Ovechkin in the Bruins’ 2-1, overtime loss to the Capitals on Saturday. “He’s been evaluated as day-to-day, so he’s not on this trip. But I think nobody anticipated anything (other than that) after that incident, and what it was. We said that after the game we don’t know (when he’ll return).”

On the Arizona Coyotes …

  • Craig Morgan: Defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson left last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

On the Montreal Canadiens …

  • Stu Cowan: Winger Brendan Gallagher didn’t practice yesterday due to a lower-body injury.

On the Colorado Avalanche …

  • Mike Chambers: Defenseman Chris Bigras was held out of last night’s game with a “head” issue … a headache or something else.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

  • Anaheim Ducks: Cam Fowler on the face shield he’s wearing: “Got my nose busted , but I’ll be able to play with this nice shield.”

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

  • Joe Smith: Braydon Coburn is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

On the Ottawa Senators …
