Western Conference Injuries: Blues, Avs, Ducks and Canucks
Paul Stastny
On the St. Louis Blues …

Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Forward Paul Stastny is doubtful for today. He suffered a lower-body injury Thursday night, but it’s not believed to be a long-term injury.

“Paul, we’ll call him ‘doubtful’ (for Saturday),” Blues coach Mike Yeo said. “So we don’t expect it to be long-term or anything like that. I don’t think he’s going to play tomorrow; he could, but I don’t think he will.”

On the Colorado Avalanche …

Terry Frei: Defenseman Tyson Barrie is traveling with the team. Forward Rene Bourque isn’t, but he could meet up with the team at some point.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Eric Stephens: Defenseman Sami Vatanen did some skating with the team at the end of practice, but didn’t do any battle drills. Not looking like he’ll play today.

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Jason Botchford: The Canucks have sent Sven Baertschi home to treat his concussion. He didn’t travel with the team to Boston.
