Justin Tasch: Center Mika Zibanejad will be out six to eight weeks with a broken fibula.

Steve Zipay: Coach Alain Vigneault Oscar Lindberg will play today. Josh Jooris and Brandon Pirri are other center options for the Rangers, with a call-up another option down the road.

Brett Cyrgalis: Alain Vigneault on Pavel Buchnevich: “We’re going to have our doctors take a good look at him. This obviously might be more than back spasms.”

George Sipple: Defenseman Alexey Marchenko left last night’s game early with an upper-body injury.

Gregg Krupa: Looked like Marchenko was pointing to his right shoulder as he was skating off.

George Sipple: Coach Jeff Blashill said that  Marchenko will be out “for a little bit. I’ll have more for you .”

On the Dallas Stars …

Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News: The Stars have put defenseman Johnny Oduya on the IR and recalled Esa Lindell and Julius Honka. Oduya will be out for at least seven days. After the recalls, the Stars now have eight defensemen on their roster.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Curtis Zupka: Defenseman Clayton Stoner has a lower-body injury and the Ducks have recalled Shea Theodore. Kevin Bieksa has been sick.

On the Florida Panthers …

Harvey Fialkov: Coach Gerard Gallant said that Nick Bjugstad will have to be cleared by doctors today if he hopes to play tomorrow.
