Eastern Conference Injuries: Sens, Flyers, Devils, Rangers, Lightning and Bruins
Marc Staal and Mats Zuccarelllo of the New York Rangers
On the Ottawa Senators …

Bruce Garrioch: Coach Guy Boucher on Clarke MacArthur‘s baseline tests: “weren’t up to par.”

On the Philadelphia Flyers …

Tim Panaccio: Goaltender Michal Neuvirth has a mild left knee sprain. It’s not considered serious.

On the New Jersey Devils …

Andrew Gross: Defenseman John Moore (concussion) skated for the third straight day yesterday.

Chris Ryan: Cory Schneider was still feeling a bit ill yesterday and was not able to start.

Andrew Gross: The Devils have activated Vern Fiddler off the IR and re-assigned Blake Coleman.

On the New York Rangers …

Brett Cyrgalis: Coach Alaine Vigneault said that Mats Zuccarello should be fine for today. Defenseman Marc Staal is still skating and is in NHL concussion protocol.

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

Joe Smith: Forward J.T. Brown (upper-body) is getting close to returning to the lineup.

On the Boston Bruins …

Joe Haggerty of CSNNE: Defensemen Kevan Miller and Colin Miller didn’t practice yesterday but are getting close to returning. Colin (lower-body) skated yesterday before practice. Kevan has been out with a concussion.

“Kevan was actually feeling really well and then he got hit by a virus that’s kept him in bed for the last two days,” said Julien. “It’s nothing to do with his original injury. There was a possibility he could have been ready very soon, but that’s set him back a bit.”

Both won’t play today, but could return to practice this week.
