Wes Crosby: Coach Mike Sullivan said the Penguins don’t have a timetable on when Letang could return to the lineup. Sullivan did say that he’s “getting a whole lot closer.”

On the New York Rangers …

Brett  Cyrgalis: Coach Alain Vigneault said that Pavel Buchnevich will play tomorrow.

Justin Tasch: Vigneault said that Josh Jooris will be out for three to four weeks with a second degree AC separation (shoulder).

On the St. Louis Blues …

Lou KoracJori Lehtera coming off the IR and he’s good to return to the lineup.

On the Buffalo Sabres …

Paul Hamilton: Robin Lehner missed practice. He’s been battling an illness.

Michael Smith: Forward Jeff Skinner is out with a middle-body injury and didn’t practice today.

Chip Alexander: Coach Peters said that Skinner is probable for their next game.

Michael Smith: Defenseman Ryan Murphy (lower-body) practiced today. At the start of the month it was estimated that he’d miss three to four weeks.

David Alter: Defenseman Matt Hunwick is out with a lower-body injury and won’t be in the lineup.

Brian Hedger: Defenseman Gustav Forsling didn’t practice today.

Helene St. James: Forward Justin Abdelkader said that he will be in the lineup tonight.

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Ben Kuzma: Defenseman Chris Tanev was put on the IR with an ankle injury. He’ll be out for a minimum of seven days. They have recalled Michael Zalewski.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Eric Stephens of the OC Register: Ryan Getzlaf was one the ice with Rickard Rakell and Clayton Stoner for the Ducks optional skate today.

“Like always, it’s a matter of how it reacts and those kind of things,” Getzlaf said. “I just did a little bit today so it matters what happens in the morning.”
