On the New York Rangers …

Dan Rosen of NHL.com: Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist will be out for the next two to three weeks with a muscle strain in his hip that he suffered in the first period of Tuesday game. He finished the game, making 43 saves and picking up the win.

“I know exactly when it happened,” Lundqvist said Saturday. “If you would tell me to get off the ice you would not be able to because I wanted to continue to play. Now it’s about how you deal with it and make the most of these next two weeks, training and rest and try to come back on top of things.”

Daniel Popper: Both Rick Nash (upper-body) and Michael Grabner (hip) practiced yesterday.

On the Pittsburgh Penguins …

Ron Cook of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Defenseman Kris Letang is still out with a “hockey related” injury that isn’t a concussion. He’s been out since February 21st, and hasn’t practiced since the 24th. There is no timetable on his return.

Jonathan Bombulie of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Coach Mike Sullivan said that forward Carl Hagelin will be out for at least four weeks with a lower-body injury.

[Bombulie] guessing that despite playing on Friday night, the injury may have come on Wednesday night after he blocked in the shot on the foot/ankle area.

Jason Mackey: So the Penguins are now without Carl Hagelin, Matt Cullen, Patric Hornqvist, Bryan Rust, Kris Letang and Trevor Daley.

On the Columbus Blue Jackets …

Aaron Portzline: Defenseman Ryan Murray may have broken his hand after blocking a shot in the first period last night.

Aaron Portlzline: Murray will have more tests to determine the severity of the break and to get timeline on recovery.

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

Erik Erlendsson: All three Lightning centers – Tyler Johnson, Vladislav Namestnikov and Cedric Paquette – missed last night’s game and will all be re-evaluated before Monday.

On the Florida Panthers …

George Richards: Coach/GM Tom Rowe said that Aaron Ekblad and Denis Malgin left last night’s game with a concussion.
