NHL Injuries: Canadiens, Islanders, Blues, Canucks, Stars and Ducks
Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens
On the Montreal Canadiens …

Eric Engels: Coach Claude Julien on Carey Price: “Carey was not at 100 percent today, it’s very minor, but we have to make sure he’s 100 percent”

Eric Engels: Price is questionable for Thursday against the Hurricanes.

On the New York Islanders …

New York Islanders: Forward Ryan Strome left last night’s game early with an upper-body injury.

On the St. Louis Blues …

Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Center Paul Stastny will be out for at least week with a lower-body injury. The Blues listed him as week-to-week yesterday. The Blues would start their first round playoff series in three weeks. Stastny took a Vladimir Tarasenko shot in the skate, but coach Mike Yeo said after the game he tweaked something and it wasn’t from the shot.

There was no update on Jori Lehtera, who has been out since March 11th.

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Dan Murphy: Jayson Megna (upper-body) and Joseph Cramarossa (foot) are likely out for the rest of the trip.

Vancouver Canucks: Cramarossa took a shot off his foot and is having trouble walking.

On the Dallas Stars …

Sean Shapiro: Jason Spezza is doubtful for Thursday.

Mark Stepneski: Forward Mattias Janmark confirmed yesterday that he will not play in any games this season.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Eric Stephens of the OC Register: Defenseman Clayton Stoner is progressing from abdominal surgery back in December. The Ducks could send him to the AHL on a conditioning stint.

“He just needs to continue to progress with us and then there’ll be a decision for us made at some point here for him to get games,” Carlyle said. “We’re going to have to make a decision on where he’s at and what kind of feedback comes back from him more than anything.”
