Edmonton Oilers: The Oilers put Leon Draisaitl on the IR. Coach Todd McLellan said that Draisaitl and Drake Caggiula won’t play tonight but will be evaluated to see if they travel with the team on their road trip.

Dane Mizutani: Zach Parise left practice after 20 minutes yesterday.

Michael Russo: Coach Bruce Boudreau on Parise: “setback. I don’t know how much of a setback. I talked to him before practice & he felt great.”

Defenseman Jay Bouwmeester, out with a fractured ankle, is coming along. Yeo said he’s not ahead of schedule, but he’s not behind schedule.
