Western Conference Injuries: Hawks, Jets, Canucks, Coyotes and Avs
Alex Edler
On the Chicago Blackhawks …

John Dietz: Center Jonathan Toews is questionable for tonight’s game.

On the Winnipeg Jets …

Sean Reynolds: Bryan Little was practicing with teammates yesterday and doing line rushes with Blake Wheeler and Drew Stafford.

Ted Wyman: Mathieu Perreault was on the ice and wearing no-contact jersey at practice.

On the Vancouver Canucks …

Vancouver Canucks: Defenseman Alex Edler will be out for four to six weeks after undergoing surgery yesterday on a fractured left index finger.

Jon Abbott: Coach Willie Desjardins said that Anton Rodin need to get some practice time with teammates and he wouldn’t rule out going to the AHL to get into some games.

On the Arizona Coyotes …

Dave Vest: Goaltender Louis Domingue practiced yesterday. He’s missed the past two games with a lower-body injury.

On the Colorado Avalanche …

Terry Frei of the Denver Post: Defenseman Erik Johnson missed practice yesterday as he was sick. It was likely the same thing that kept Rene Bourque from practicing on Friday.

“It’s been going through our team a little bit,” Bednar added, “but we’ve contained it and it’s only been a 24-hour thing, so (Johnson) should be able to go tomorrow.”

Gabriel Landeskog didn’t practice or skate yesterday and has missed the past five games.

“He’s still considered day to day for me,” Bednar said. “He’s having good days and bad days right now. He won’t play (Tuesday).”
