  • Chris Hine: Coach Joel Quenneville said that Duncan Keith and Michal Rozsival will play tonight.

On the Sabres …

  • John Vogl: Defenseman Zach Bogosian is happy with the way full practices have gone. He considers himself day-to-day.
  • John Vogl: Bogosian: “You can only get in game shape by playing games. Hopefully, I can mix in a game here pretty soon.”
  • John Vogl: Defenseman Mike Weber had knee surgery and is out week-to-week according to coach Dan Bylsma.

On the Sharks …

  • Curtis Pashelka of the San Jose Mercury News: Logan Couture hopes to begin skating when the team returns from their roadtrip (Nov. 22nd). He is not going to rush back.

    “Injuries are something that sometimes just takes time,” Couture said. “I’ve said it from the start. I’m not going to push it where I’m not feeling comfortable.”

  • Dave Isaac: Defenseman Mark Streit didn’t practice yesterday. It may have been a maintenance day, but he’s been dealing with a nagging issue lately.

  • Ken Warren: Defenseman Jared Cowen is questionable for tonight’s game. He blocked a shot on Thursday.

On the Stars …

  • Mark Stepneski: Ales Hemsky was given a maintenance day yesterday. Jyrki Jokipakka also had a maintenance day. He’s been dealing with a lower-body issue and could play if needed.
  • Mark Stepneski: Coach Lindy Ruff said that Patrick Eaves is available and could play. Travis Moen is getting close to returning.

On the Devils …

  • Tom Gulitti: Coach John Hynes doesn’t think Patrik Elias will play on their road trip, but he’s at the point where he can be around the team and practice.
