  • Rich Chere: Johan Hedberg said that he doesn’t have any firm offers yet, but is willing to wait. Tom Gulitti: He has been talking with the Devils about an off-ice job, “nothing is concrete” yet.
  • Igor Eronko: Pavel Datsyuk’s apartment in Russia was ransacked with about $50,000 in damages.
  • Dmitry Chesnokov: The salaries for Anton Babchuk, Alex Burmistrov, Leo Komarov, Sergei Kostitsyn, Alexander Radulov, Ruslan Fedotenko & Ilya Kovalchuk are removed from their KHL teams salary cap. They make a combined $30 million. One player for each team can be excluded from the salary cap, like a ‘star’ or ‘franchise’ player.
  • Katie Carrera: The Capitals have signed 2013 1st round pick Andre Burakovsky to a three-year entry level deal. He’ll get $832,500 in the NHL, $70,000 in the AHL.
  • Cody Nickolet: The Penguins have signed 2013 draft pick Tristan Jarry to a three-year entry level deal.
