  • Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer: The Philadelphia Flyers are trying to trade for Jamie Langenbrunner. They currently have the ability to add upto a $3.6 million player, Langenbrunner makes $2.8 million. Washington, Pittsburgh and Boston are also reportedly in the mix.
  • Tim Panaccio of CSNPhilly: The Dallas Stars has reportedly offered a conditional first round pick for Langenbrunner (and may be the front runners). Langenbrunner may be wanting to remain on the East Coast. The Flyers are said to be offering 2 draft picks, Lamoriello may be looking for a player that can play now.
