Injury Updates on Kessel, Michalek, and Ehrhoff
  • James Mirtle of the Globe and Mail: Maple Leafs sniper Phil Kessel left practice after only a few minutes yesterday with a muscle cramp/strain/pull. Kessel left Saturday’s game for 10-15 minutes with the same issue. Kessel was sent for further evaluation and it is not known yet if he’ll suit up tonight versus the Flyers.
  • The Ottawa Citizen: It will be a game time decision for Milan Michalek tonight, but most likely it will be a Thursday return. Michalek has been out for the last nine games with an injured leg, and the Senators don’t want to rush him back.
  • Iain MacIntyre of the Vancouver Sun: Christian Ehrhoff might have sprained his knee on Sunday night, but did not appear to be limping on his way for further medical tests yesterday. Unless the tests comeback negative in some way, Ehrhoff may not missed a lot of time.
