  • Joe Yerdon: Sabres Michael Neuvirth has a lower-body injury.
  • Sarah McLellan: Coyotes Martin Hanzal is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
  • Bryan Burns:  Lightning’s Cedric Paquette left last night’s game with a lower-body injury.
  • Randy Miller: Flyers Claude Giroux will probably miss tonight’s game. Dave Isaac: Source saying it could be a tweaked ankle.
  • Mike Chambers: Avalanche’s Ryan Wilson is done for the season.
  • Adrian Dater: Avalanche’s Semyon Varlamov is out with a groin injury.
  • Alex Prewitt: Capitals coach Barry Trotz said there is “a very outside chance” that Brooks Laich will play  against the Avalanche. They are hopeful for Saturday or for sometime next week.
  • Anaheim Ducks: Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau said there is a good possibility that Francois Beauchemin returns on Thursday.
  • Andrew Gross: Rangers Ryan McDonagh skated for the first time yesterday since he separated his left shoulder.
  • Jody Jackson: Coyotes Brandon Gormley is out at least a week. Rob Klinkhammer is day-to-day.
  • Dave Isaac: Looking like neither Luke Schenn or Andrew MacDonald will be in the Flyers lineup.
  • Stephen Whyno: Senators GM Bryan Murray postponed a chemotherapy appointment so that he could attend the NHL GMs meeting.
