Injuries: Myers, OEL, Michalek, Martinez, Smid and More
  • Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun: Jets Tyler Myers suffered an upper-body injury last game and it’s not known if he’ll be able to go tonight.

“I don’t know the answer to that. I won’t have an update for you until tomorrow,” said Maurice.

Forward Bryan Little has been ruled out tonight. He’ll be missing his fourth consecutive game. Matt Halischuk is making progress from his fractured foot and could be ready.

  • Sarah McLellan: Coyotes Oliver Ekman-Larsson hasn’t been ruled out for tonight. He’s day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
  • Andy Strickland: Blues Zbynek Michalek is getting very close to returning to the Blues lineup.
  • Dan Murphy: Canucks Brad Richarson expects to play tonight. Defenseman Kevin Bieksa said he’s feeling “good” and barring any setbacks, both could return to the lineup.
  • Jon Rosen: Kings Alec Martinez is getting close to being able to practice with the team.
  • Lou Korac: Blues Olli Jokinen (upper-bobdy) won’t be ready to play this weekend. Coach Ken Hitchcock said that when he’s ready to return, they want him playing as a regular.
  • Kristen Odland: Flames GM Brad Treliving said Ladislav Smid is done for the year after re-aggravating his neck injury.
  • Eric Stephens: Wild’s Jason Zucker (collarbone) is still at least month away from returning. Marco Scandella (oblique) and Ryan Carter (upper-body) are not ready yet.
