  • Mark Masters: Maple Leafs coach Peter Horachek said that Phil Kessel is dealing with an injury at the moment.
  • Jonas Siegel: Maple Leafs Dion Phaneuf missed practiced again yesterday. His timetable to return has been moved back. It’s not known when he’ll return.
  • Darren Dreger: It is believed that Leafs defenseman Cody Franson has a minor hip issue that isn’t believed to be serious.
  • Jonas Siegel: Maple Leafs Joffrey Lupul will be shut down for at least a week with a lower-body issue that was bothering him earlier. Paul Hendrick: Lupul aggravated his knee injury that he originally hurt against Bruins on Dec. 31st.
  • Tim Panaccio: Flyers Luke Schenn has an upper-body injury.
  • Michael Russo: Wild’s Jason Zucker is out three months with a broken collarbone. Ryan Carter will be out a month with an upper-body injury.
  • Tom Gulitti: Devils GM Lou Lamoriello said that Scott Gomez will return to practice today, rested yesterday.
  • Tom Gulitti: Devils Stephen Gionta still hasn’t been cleared for contact. He won’t travel with the team to Chicago and Nashville. He’ll stay back and skate with Damon Severson.
  • Chris Hine: Blackhawks Tim Erixon is day-to-day with a lower-body injury according to coach Joel Quenneville.
  • Renaud Lavoie: Canadiens P.A. Parenteau should be able to return next week, barring a setback.
  • Andy Strickland: Blues defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk will continue his rehab with the team in Florida.
  • Aaron Portzline: Blue Jackets Jeremy Morin’s situation won’t require surgery according to GM Jarmo Kekalainen. They hope to have some more information soon.
