Ken Warren of the Ottawa Citizen: Senators forward Clarke MacArthur has to undergo a “neuro-psych” exam before he’s allowed to return from his concussion.

“It’s like a full-body (test), where you are doing physical tests, not just a pen and paper (concussion test). I will be active, wearing the workout gear. They will be judging reaction time, testing certain things. That will give me a full-body baseline, instead of just a ‘neuro’ baseline.”

MacArthur is attempting to comeback from his fourth concussion in 18 months.

On the New York Rangers …

Steve Zipay of Newsday: Coach Alain Vigneault said that Rick Nash is “very, very close” to returning and is expected to travel with the team on their two-game road trip. He will have to go through a full practice before getting clearance to return.
