  • Darren Dreger via twitter: Sources say Robyn Regehr has been asked to waive his no-move clause and accept a trade to the Buffalo Sabres.
  • Pierre LeBrun via twitter: LeBrun has been told that the Los Angeles Kings and Calgary Flames have talked about Ryan Smyth. Talks are very preliminary, but intriguing.
  • Pierre LeBrun via twitter: Stars GM Joe Nieuwendyk was told by Pat Morris (Richards agent) that they are going to July 1st and won’t waive the no-movement clause.
  • Helene Elliott via twitter: Elliottt doesn’t see the LA Kings and Drew Doughty getting a deal done anytime soon. She does expect a Ryan Smyth trade this weekend. Dennis Bernstein via twitter: Bernstein isn’t hearing any difficulties regarding Kings and Doughty discussions.

  • Dmitry Chesnokov via twitter: Andrei Markov’s Russian agent didn’t deny that Markov re-signed with the Canadiens. He told SovSport, “I’m very happy for Andrei.” Agent added “Markov had a few very attractive offers from the KHL. He didn’t even consider them; wanted to stay in MTL.”
