Injury Notes ….

  • Andrew Gross: Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said that Chris Kreider will be fine for today’s game. He was given a maintenance day yesterday.
  • Tom Gulitti: Devils coach John Hynes said that Travis Zajac is a “possibility” for Saturday against the Ducks.
  • Bob Stauffer: The Oilers put Oscar Klefbom on the IR, which could open up a spot for Benoit Pouliot to possibly be activated for tonight’s game against the Blackhawks.
  • Curtis Pashelka: Sharks Tomas Hertl said he felt better yesterday than on Tuesday, but will still likely be a game-day decision.
  • Wayne Scanlan: Senators Curtis Lazar said that he’s okay after the Wilson hit. His neck is a little sore, but his head is fine. There is a chance that he plays tomorrow.
  • Joe Yerdon: Sabres coach Dan Bylsma said that Marcus Foligno is still day-to-day. Tyler Ennis continues to make some progress.
  • Mike Harrington: Bylsma expects Ennis to practice Friday and he could play on Saturday.

  • Jonas Siegel: Garret Sparks will start in net for the Maple Leafs. Coach Mike Babcock on Jonathan Bernier: “I just think that the puck’s going in so Sparks will start.” Babcock added: “I thought we had a real good plan in sending him down…unfortunately it didn’t go the way he wanted when he arrived back.”
  • Chuck Gormley: Tom Wilson’s match penalty has an automatic review, but not an automatic suspension.
