Edmonton Oilers: The Oilers have activated defenseman Adam Larsson from the IR and have assigned forward Anton Slepyshev to the AHL.

On the Montreal Canadiens …

Irfaan Gaffar: The Canadiens sent Shea Weber back to Montreal as his foot injury isn’t getting better. Coach Claude Julien said they are going to “shut him down for a bit.”

Pierre LeBrun: Weber had been playing through the foot injury for most of the season.

On the New Jersey Devils …

Chris Ryan: Forwards Taylor Hall and Kyle Palmieri will be in the lineup tonight. Marcus Johansson is still out but could return on Thursday.

On the Pittsburgh Penguins …

Pens Inside Scoop: Coach Mike Sullivan said that Tom Kuhnhackl (upper-body) is able to play tonight if Dominik Simon is not able to go.
