Ian Mendes: The Senators and goaltender Craig Anderson agreed on a two-year contract with a salary cap hit of $4.75 million.

Bruce Garrioch: Anderson will make $5.5 million next year and $4 million the following year. In 2018 he’ll have a 10 team no-trade list.

Bruce Garrioch: Forward Derick Brassard was a full participant in practice yesterday and was wearing a contact jersey.

Bruce Garrioch: Brassard won’t play in their next preseason game but is hopeful for their season opener.
