  • Arthur Staple: The Islanders can’t sign Ville Pokka until after the World Championship ends on May 25th, but must sign him before June 1st.
  • Andy Strickland: (trade recap) If Ryan Miller re-signs with the Blues before the draft, the Sabres get the Blues 2014 1st round pick and the Blues would get the Wild’s 2nd round pick and the Sabres 3rd round pick. If the Sabres re-sign Miller after the draft the Blues get a 2016 3rd round pick and the Sabres get the Blues 2nd round round pick. Strickland isn’t suggesting the Blues will or won’t re-sign him.
  • Slava Malamud: Sibir Novosobirsk of the KHL trade the rights to Vladimir Tarasenko to SKA St Petersburg for a draft pick.
