  • Darren Dreger: Lightning’s Ben Bishop said he had a dislocated elbow and was hoping to get into Game 5 or 6.
  • Darren Dreger: Lightning Steven Stamkos said his leg was still hindering him. He didn’t have the confidence to take the puck wide or drive the net.
  • Nina Falcone: It’s still not known if Blues David Backes will play in Game 4. Coach Ken Hitchcock said he’ll have an update today.
  • Adrian Dater: Ryan Wilson will replace Tyson Barrie on the Avs blueline.
  • Dave Isaac: Flyers Steve Downie is out indefinitely with an upper-body injury.
  • Ansar Khan: Red Wings Daniel Alfredsson missed last night’s game with a back injury.
  • Jason Brough of Pro Hockey Talk: Devils GM Lou Lamoriello said that defenseman Mark Fayne “underwent successful surgery to the core muscle of his left groin” yesterday. Rehab is expected to be eight to 10 weeks. Fayne is a pending UFA.
