Morning Rumors: Predators, Blues, Blackhawks, Top 5 Defenseman and Barkov Injury
  • Flutuo Shinzawa of the Boston Globe: The Predators are only four points out of eighth spot. Pending UFA David Legwand has a no-movement clause and could be a good addition for the Blues or Blackhawks if the Predators look to move him. The Blues are missing Vladimir Sobotka and the Blackhawks could use a No. 2 center. The Panthers have plenty of forwards that could be traded. With so many teams having salary cap issues this year and possible next, they might have to eat some salary like they did with Kris Versteeg.
