Injury Notes: Seguin, Malkin, Kessel, Bozak, Lupul, Perreault, Beauchemin, Semin and Helm
  • James Mirtle: Stars Tyler Seguin will have some concussion testing this afternoon in Toronto and it’s not known if he’ll be able to return to the lineup tonight.
  • Josh Yohe: Penugins Evgeni Malkin has a lower-body injury and won’t play tonight.
  • Jonas Siegel: Maple Leafs Phil Kessel will play tonight. Colton Orr won’t be in the lineup.
  • Josh Rimer: Maple Leafs Tyler Bozak is out indefinitely with an oblique strain. James Mirtle: Bozak was put on the IR.
  • Mark Masters: Maple Leafs Joffrey Lupul (groin) on if he’ll be able to play on Saturday: “It’s too hard to say right now. I don’t want to rule anything out quite yet.”
  • Eric Stephens: Ducks Mathieu Perreault is out at least two games with a lower-body injury.
  • Eric Stephens: Francois Beauchemin will be traveling with the team, but it’s not known yet if he’ll play.
  • Chip Alexander: Hurricanes Alex Semin has been skating and feeling good, could play on their Western trip according to coach Kirk Muller.
  • Bill Roose: Red Wings Darren Helm has a shoulder injury and won’t travel with the team to New Jersey.
