  • Aaron Portzline: The Blue Jackets have sent defenseman Tim Erixon to the AHL.
  • Leafs PR: Maple Leafs recalled Carter Ashton.
  • Dennis Bernstein: Kings coach Darryl Sutter said that their schedule will allow Ben Scrivens to play every game until Jonathan Quick returns around Christmas.
  • Katie Carrera: Capitals goalie Michal Neuvirth stepped on a puck during the warmups yesterday. He won’t travel with the team.
  • Mark Stepneski: Stars Stephane Robidas was taken off the ice on a stretcher and taken to the hospital. Stars official said he has a leg fracture.
  • Tom Gulitti: Hurricanes defensman Andrej Sekera is out with an upper-body injury.
  • Jon Rosen: Kings Matt Frattin is day-to-day. Matt Greene is skating but not close to returning.
