  • Andrew Gross: Rangers Rick Nash is hoping to play either Tuesday against the Bruins or Thursday against the Stars.
  • Don Brennan: Senators Bobby Ryan practiced yesterday and is feeling no ill effects from Dennis Seidenberg’s hit.
  • Ken Wiebe: Jets Zach Bogosian (lower-body) had more tests yesterday to determine the extent of the injury. Looking more like day-to-day.
  • Damian Cristodero: Lightning’s Mark Barberio and Keith Aulie could be ready to return to the lineup before the end of their road trip.
  • Tom Gulitti: Devils Jon Merrill isn’t sure when he’ll be able to return to the lineup. He has “no idea” if he’ll go with the team on their road trip. Added that he feels “great” now and that he’s “not really sure” if he lost consciousness.
  • Chris Kuc: Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said that Marian Hossa is day-to-day. Mark Lazerus: There is a still a chance he could play today. Goalie Nikolai Khabibulin could be “a bit.”
  • Mark Masters: Carl Gunnarsson fell awkwardly on Friday night: “My leg went numb for a little bit but after a couple mins it was fine & then nothing this morning”
  • Darren Dreger: Maple Leafs Tyler Bozak is likely 10 days away from returning to the lineup. Dave Bolland’s status won’t be known from at least another three weeks.
  • Mark Masters: Maple Leafs Mark Fraser will be assessed today. Coach Randy Carlyle doesn’t think it’s serious and more likely to be day-to-day than week-to-week. When asked if it’s related to his previous knee issue, Carlyle said: “It’s a lower-body & he had a lower-body before.”
  • Damian Cristodero: Lightning’s goalie Ben Bishop said he left the game to get his bearings after taking a shot off his mask. He said he is feeling no ill effects.
  • Lou Korac: Hurricanes Alex Semin (upper body) left last night’s game.
