Injury Notes: Neal, Anderson, Tanguay, Morrow, Bolland, Coyle, Strait, Koivu, Nash, Skinner and Khudobin
  • Pittsburgh Penguins: James Neal skated by himself yesterday morning for an extended period of time. Beau Bennett practiced. Coach Dan Bylsma expects them to do the same today.
  • Don Brennan: Senators Craig Anderson will not travel with the team to Columbus. Nathan Lawson will be recalled and will be Robin Lehner’s backup.
  • Colorado Avalanche: Avs coach Patrick Roy said that Alex Tanguay will be out at least two weeks with a knee injury. Will be reevaluated then.
  • Rachel Blount of the Star Tribune: Wild’s Charlie Coyle re-injured his knee that kept him out of 11 games. He’s listed as day-to-day. Carson McMillan has been recalled.
  • Arthur Staple: The Islanders put Brian Strait on the IR retroactive to Oct. 24th with an upper-body injury.
  • Eric Stephens: Ducks Saku Koivu hasn’t experienced any lingering symptoms from Brandon Dubinsky’s hit. He’s skating and could return soon. Koivu could potentially be “ready to go” on Wednesday.

  • Chip Alexander: Hurricanes Jeff Skinner will get a second opinion on his injury.
  • Chip Alexander: Hurricanes Anton Khudobin skated but will still need more time.
