  • Minnesota Wild: Wild’s defenseman Jonas Brodin has a broken cheekbone and is out indefinitely. No timetable.
  • Jim Diamond: Carrie Underwood reports that Mike Fisher has a “foot fracture thing.”
  • William DePaoli: Penguins Kris Letang looking like he’s back on Friday and paired with Rob Scuderi.
  • Rich Chere: X-rays on Devils defenseman Bryce Salvador’s foot were negative. Tom Gulitti: GM Lou Lamoriello said there is no timetable for Salvador.
  • Steve Goldstein: Panthers Tim Thomas can get nine days of rest and only miss two games. He can get two weeks of rest and miss only four games. David Neal: Thomas is on the IR, but not expected to be long-term.
  • NBA Pro Hockey Talk: Blackhawks Mike Kostka will be out four to six weeks with a lower-body injury.
